Tamil music maestro A.R Rahman bags 2 oscars for best original score and song, and the movie Slumdog Millionaire bags a total 8 awards including Best Director for Danny Boyle and Best Picture at the 2009 oscars.
Upset of the night was however the Best Actor award which went to Sean Penn(Milk) for which Mickey Rourke(The Wrestler) was widely considered the favorite.
Kate winslet was sixth time lucky bagging the Best Actress award for the movie The Reader.
